David M. Karen is in his 25th year as a litigator, practicing in civil litigation as a trial lawyer since 1985.  His firm, DK Law Group, formerly known as the Law Offices of David M. Karen, specializes in the trial and mediation of virtually all civil matters. Mr. Karen's law practice includes both the defense and prosecution of all aspects of civil litigation of serious injury and business interests, including arbitration, mediation, aggressive discovery, litigation review, litigation management, and all forms of dispute resolution.   Since 1999, Mr. Karen has been appointed as Mediator for over 150 Los Angeles Superior court actions having now mediated over 250 matters and periodically presides as Judge pro tem (Small Claims) as well as the Settlement Judge for trials pending in the Ventura County Superior Court, (Department 22).
